Christa Stamper

MA, Counselor

Christa Stamper is a biblical counselor who helps people find hope, wisdom, and lasting comfort in Christ through the truth of God’s Word. With more than thirty years of ministry experience, she has walked alongside individuals, couples, families, and church communities through a wide range of life’s challenges, including anxiety, grief, relationship struggles, major life transitions, spiritual questions, and seasons of profound suffering. Her desire is to help people grow in their relationship with Christ and experience the hope and transformation found in the gospel.

Christa’s compassion for others was deeply shaped by growing up with her older sister Tara, who sustained a traumatic brain injury as a young child and lived with significant disabilities. Through Tara’s life, Christa learned to recognize the God-given dignity and worth of every person and developed a heart for walking alongside those who are hurting. That perspective continues to shape her counseling and ministry today.

Throughout her years of ministry, Christa has led women’s Bible studies and support groups, counseled women and youth, developed mentoring ministries, and served through speaking, writing, and leadership. In addition to helping people navigate everyday struggles, she brings extensive experience caring for those affected by abuse, coercive control, trauma, and relational betrayal. As Program Manager of a Christian domestic violence shelter, she provided leadership, biblical encouragement, advocacy, trauma-informed care, and practical support to women and families in crisis. This combination of broad ministry experience and specialized training enables her to care for people facing both the ordinary challenges of life and its deepest hardships.

Like those she serves, Christa has personally known seasons of weakness and deep dependence on God’s grace. Her counseling flows not only from extensive training and experience, but from tasting the kindness and faithfulness of the Lord who sustains His people in hardship.

Christa’s approach combines theological depth with compassionate care. She seeks to understand the full complexity of each person’s story while helping them view their struggles within the grand narrative of Scripture — creation, fall, redemption, and restoration. Rather than offering simplistic answers, she points people to the hope and steadfast love found in Christ.

Christa and her husband Greg have been married thirty-two years and live in Washington State. They have four adult children, two of whom are married, and they recently welcomed their first grandchild.
